Write a summary of the following passage in about 60 words.
                One day a king asked his minister if there was any ill-omened man in his kingdom. The minister informed
him that there was such a man. He added that if any man saw his face in the morning, he would get no food throughout the day. The king wanted to test the ill-omened man. Early next morning he looked at the man’s face and began his own work for the day. It so happened that the king remained very busy that day and could not make time to take his dinner. Calling the minister to his presence he said that man is really ill omened. Hang him at once till he is dead.” The minister thereupon said, “ your majesty saw his face in the morning and so could not take your food. you remained hungry for a day only. On the other hand he saw your own face in the morning before looking at the face of anyone else, and is now going to be hanged”. Hearing this, the king pardoned the man and let him go home.

                Hellen Keller was aged two when an illness took away her sight and hearing. Since she was deaf she also lost the ability to speak for we learn to speak by imitating what we hear. So, as a child she lived in a dark and silent world. At first it seemed impossible that she would ever understand others or be understood by them. Hers was thus a very lonely world. She was helped by a wonderful teacher called Miss sullivan. She was blind as a child but recovered her sight after an operation.
                Miss sullivan volunteered to help Hellen and taught her to speak, read and write. Hellen later went to a university and even gained a degree . She then spent the rest of her life working to help the blind and the deaf.
